We are thrilled to announce that we have opened a new office in Taunton! Located on Bridge Street in the market town’s centre, the office is ideally placed to manage our expanding services in the South-West. Our work is built on personal relationships, so we knew that our homes in that area of the country would be better served with a new central presence on the ground.
The new office will improve our ability to manage a consistently high quality of service across the country, as well as ensure that all our staff feel they have access to excellent professional development and personal support.
Our Taunton office will be headed up by Julie Wright, our Head of Children’s Services, who surpassed 10 years of service at idem living earlier this year. With nearly 3 decades of experience in health and social care, Julie said “the opening of an Office in the South-West will enable us to have a central location which can provide a working hub for all of our South-West teams. Somewhere they can drop in for support and guidance, or just a peaceful place to work away from the daily humdrum of the homes.”
She added that it will “enable us to work more collaboratively in a professional manner” and will further “unify us as a team”. Julie hopes that it will provide “an opportunity to showcase the wonderful work that idem living carries out”.
